All is well on the home-front.

Late last week we had our first baby appointment. We got to see the little guy/gal on the ultrasound and see the heartbeat (Yes, there was just one in there!). Good heart beat by the way! Breyton got to come but he was less interested in his new sibling and more interested in the fun-looking medical equipment in the room.

I'm 2 days away from 10 weeks along now and doing pretty well. The baby is the size of a grape. My morning sickness started around 6.5 weeks and has been plaguing me quite a bit until just recently. The last couple days have been pretty good, just feeling bad when I get hungry... which seems to be every couple hours! A lot of people have asked if it's worse this time around or better but it's hard to gauge. Last time I got to nap or rest when I needed it. I would come home from work every day at 3:30pm and take a nap. Oh so nice. I don't quite have that luxury all the time this time around. Although, Jon has been very good at letting me slip away to nap if I insist. But last time, my sickness lasted until 12 weeks... hopefully the lull this week is the start of the end of sickness for this baby. So we are just truckin' along, chasing one baby, growing another.

I volunteer at the Alpha Center, where one of their services is doing early ultrasounds on moms. So when I told them I'm pregnant again, they were very excited to play with the ultrasound on me. So, I got some cute pictures the day before we had our OB appointment. They want me to come back when I'm around 12 weeks and play some more and get some cute pictures where you can see hands, feet, fingers and toes! I love having access to fun things :)

Please pray that we continue to have a non-eventful pregnancy and a safe, healthy baby! I will post ultrasound pictures when I can get the scanner to work :)

The whole family believes/strongly hopes we're having a girl... since there are two boy grandsons so far. My mom believes this so much that she's already contemplating buying girl outfits. You know Mom, we do have a boy... feel free to buy cute 2T boy's outfits!! :)

Please cast your vote on what you think the sex of the baby will be! (on the side-bar)
