The last couple weeks have been filled with decorating fun!
We have been working on Breyton's coming room. We'll be moving him into the guest room now that is becoming his new room. Jon's been doing a great job on the chair rail and shelf. We just got the shelf up yesterday, it still needs the piece of trim in front of it, then it will be complete. Then I get to stain, caulk, and touch up paint. Then ... it will be done! I have been working on his artwork to go in there for a while. It was a more detailed project than I anticipated. I stole the idea off of a room posted on HGTV's Rate My Space page. They are 16x20 canvas' painted in his name. Jon made the car outline that is an BMW M-Coupe (of course). The colors match his new bedding. Here are the progress photos of his room.

Then for the new nursery, we are doing pink, green, and brown. I just finished the artwork today that will go on the shelf in that room. I also stole this idea off the same website! :) The flowers are artificial peonies from Hobby Lobby, reed stems, and cut out birds using my Cricut. I love it. Then under the chair rail I'm going to put wooden letters of her name on the wall (after she's born :) ... maybe modge-podged with the same paper as the birds? Then floating away from her name I'm going to put up these really cool white wall flowers (see pics) (idea also stolen from HGTV). My mom and grandma are going to make bedding with the fabrics that are by the canvas'. So much fun! I love that we're having a girl! I've had these ideas saved on my computer for a while now! Excited to get to put them into reality!

And then, there is this little baby in me that I am convinced she is making space to grow by using her feet! She is such a little kicker! The other day I had such bad ligament stretching pain all night and the next day! Again, I am getting similar comments on pregnancy as I did with Breyton's.... "You're pregnant?" "You're so small!" "You should feel lucky." At least this time, I new it would come. I don't think I am destined to be a big bellied pregnant gal, although that was always my desire. So, as usual, nearer my due date, people will know I am pregnant. :) Here are progress photos of the little baby girl.
What else?. I am experiencing similar pregnancy ism's as with Breyton. I can't think of the word I'm looking for... ever. I am constantly asking Jon who people's names are, because I can't get it from the tip of my tongue. I love Honeycomb cereal (it was Cinnamon Toast Crunch with Breyton). My skin is worse this time around, but improving finally I think. My dark line on my tummy is slowly coming back. It was just about gone before I got pregnant! Can't think of much more right now.
The new stroller we're going to get. (And sell our travel system stroller) It's a Phil and Ted stroller. So very cool. So very expensive. Some of our friends have one and rave about it. We have been saving our Christmas/birthday/Etsy money to get one!
What else?. Here are some pictures that have been hanging around my computer that I've meant to fit into a blog but haven't.
Breyton's car he got for Christmas. He loves it. Can't figure out how to go forwards yet though.
Helping mom clean the bathtub. I know, it's an awesome picture of me.
B riding the horse at King Soopers.
He loves getting our shoes out to walk around in. He giggles while doing it!
New favorite: undressing before we get him up in the morning! You see his diaper in the lower left corner. Yeah.
Proud.
Hop on Pop.
Jon's painting he got for Christmas. A guy that sells them on Ebay does original paintings of different cars. This is one of 3 (he got one) of the BMW M-Coupe... his dream car.

You do have a tiny baby belly! But it's cute! And Grant tries on our shoes all the time too! They love feeling "big" don't they! You are so talented with their cute rooms--that's our summer project, decorating a room our boys will share (I may have to check out the hgtv site).
