Now that Breyton's room is done, it's time to start on the nursery! Here's what we've done so far...
Painting over the circles... kind of sad.
First coat of paint.
Jon building a dresser for Breyton's room.
Finished curtains!! My plan was to start them and work on them last night but I ended up staying up until almost 2am and finished them instead. I like projects :) These were hard because it is the pink fabric we're using for the bedding with eyelet fabric over it and white backing on the back. Too many layers to think about when sewing! But they turned out great and it's great to see some pink in the room!
It's really hard to take a picture of how they look with the light shining through them so you can see the pattern of the pink, but here's as close as I could get.
How they look down.
In the meantime, Breyton enjoying his room with his bookshelf.
Happy!
When Jon gets some time soon, we'll put up the nursery trim and that will give me projects to do for a little while. Then my mom and Grammy are making the crib bedding, so that will be fun to see and put in there when it's done. Soon, I'm going to start playing with making pom-poms out of tissue paper to hang in there. Just have to figure out what I want to use to hang them from the ceiling.
Had our baby check-up yesterday. She was kicking the doppler :) Passed my glucose test. That's always nice to have done. Baby sounded good. I'll be 26 weeks tomorrow!
