I feel the 2nd wind of tiredness third trimester coming around...
Been napping along with Breyton lately instead of doing my other misc. things to be done. Today, however, I accomplished.... laundry.... and no nap.
But, Kristen came over and we made all of Maggie's baby shower invites, despite a couple set-backs, even on a time budget!
I'm 31 weeks! Baby's been bouncy in there lately. I think maybe figuring out her boundaries - which includes my ribs now. I've had more back and hip pain this time around, but manageable. I'm getting a cute baby girl out of it so I think it's probably worth it! As far as pregnancy brain goes, one fun story -- the other day I was watering the back lawn with the sprinkler and left it going all night. Discovered a pretty running sprinkler surrounded by ice in the morning! Bummer. It made me sad.
The nursery is finished! Although, the crib is still in B's room until he's done with it. Breyton has been doing naps in his twin bed lately and doing a great job of it! He's only fallen out once :) He doesn't even try to get out of bed - which is great for Mom because that will mean discipline! :) So, soon he'll be in that bed full time!
We all had a long round of sickness the last couple weeks, but thankfully, are all well now. Starting with Breyton, we one-by-one got a stomach bug. Then I had on an ongoing cold that only got worse and worse and forced me to the doctor for more treatment. But, like I said, we have all recovered and are looking forward to spring!
We celebrated Jon's birthday by going to the Nuggets game last weekend with friends. Lots of fun - and Nuggets won! Then yesterday on his birthday, we spent the day car dealership hopping looking at a number of cars he wanted to see and test drive. It ended up that everything we test drove was diesel.
Breyton has loved the warmer weather (along with Mom and Dad!)! We've been on walks galore, to parks, and around our yard. Breyton loves to wander the yard and explore! My flower bulbs are coming up, including my successful transplants from Iowa last year!
Breyton's also been talking more and more. He's been loving working on his letters lately (colors and numbers too, but mostly letters). We do a mix of flash cards, fridge letters, typing on the keyboard, and typing on the computer. Normally I will say something like, "Can you find 'D'-dog?" and he'll sit there and say, "Deeee, umm..." and "Yea!" when's he's found it. Today he was typing on my computer and said, "C" and typed it without prompting. Fun to see him learning and verbalizing!!

I love the picture of you and Jon in your jerseys...so cute! Breyton, you have a boogie in your nose : ) Jenn, I am praying that you have strength at the end of your pregnancy. I can't wait to meet Ella! or Maria...or Stella. Are you sending me an invite to Mag's shower? ugh, I hate being so far away. Sometimes I convince myself that we are just as connected..but I miss out on everyday stuff, and special stuff. And that stinks! But God is good and he has a plan, right. Love you!
