Pig has been FOUND!

If you hadn't heard before, pig (well, the head of pig), was lost along with duck early last week. Pig and duck are animal pieces to Breyton's Fridge Farm. There a 10 total pieces, a head and back-end of 5 animals. And as previously mentioned, pig and duck were found to be missing...

Duck was recovered in the trash can... at the near bottom of the trash can under many gross things. I only thought to look there after noticing Breyton discovered the trash can lid opens and him attempting to throw something else in.

So, I've been looking at 9 pieces on the fridge for over a week now and we just keep thinking, "poor pig." We checked every possible hiding place of Breyton's that pig could have been placed but to no avail.

This afternoon, Jon and I were sitting on the couch catching up on the new Office from last week and I realized sometime early last week we saw Breyton playing by the speaker and heard something drop into it form the opening in the middle. At the time, we figured we get it later and then forgot about it. Until now!

PIG!! It MUST have been him that got dropped in! We got really excited about the possibility that pig may be found!

So Jon was tipping the speaker back and forth to get a view of what was in there. Because, of course, there is no way to get whatever is in there out except the way it went in!

Here's Jon tilting the speaker and looking for a glimpse... Everyone is waiting in expectation!
And yes! Pig it is!!
This picture doesn't show the reality that he is actually about a foot down in there! So now the trick was to figure out how to get him out! We tried many things but what ended up working was a spatula with duck tape on the end and pig was saved by way of sticking!
Here is pig out of hiding!
And here is pig back in his natural habitat thanks to Breyton!
We are very glad to have pig back to the farm!

Hilarious! Poor Pig, and poor adventurous Breyton. I hope he is happy to have his piggy back. Now, Bretyon, dearest...don't throw your precious toys away, or you won't have them any more! Love, Aunt Lizzy

Very cool! Did you put the duct tape on the back of the speaker to cover up the hole? Maybe Breyton thought he (pig) didn't want to be on the farm anymore and wanted more "culture." Love, Grammy

The hole is on the front of the speaker, so no. But we will watch the little turkey a little more around it. :)
