Proverbs Thirty One: Thirty

{What we did today}

Got up at 7am to garage sale in our neighborhood garage sale with Grandma Kim and Lindsay (Grandpa stayed home and waited for baby to wake up). We found a wooden chest for a toy box for Breyton's "big boy room" when he eventually moves to the other room -- for $20! (Picture to come) We also got a couple long sleeve shirts for B and Jon got a book.

Then off to a late breakfast at Denny's with everybody after our pillaging was completed.

Back home, Jon did lots of lawn work and I watched/napped in our chairs on the porch :) Hey, we built them, I should get to enjoy them too! I also did laundry, watered the flowers, and finished sewing another nursing cover. Then we planted another lilac bush in the backyard. All while baby was napping!

Two hours and some later, Breyton woke up, ate some late lunch and off to Grammy's. We went swimming as a family... although Grammy didn't get deeper than the 1 foot baby pool. Hmm. Breyton had fun dipping his face in the water. Then Grammy showed him how to blow bubbles in the water which added to his fun. Enjoyed home-made fried chicken strips (and leftovers!) Then made pound cake where Breyton got to enjoy the beaters! I think that was his first beater-licking experience! Grammy, we had fun!





Home. Breyton fell asleep in the car within 5 minutes... love it.

Also, it's Maggie's birthday! Happy Birthday Maggie!
