Proverbs Thirty One: Thirty

...but now that I sit down, I can't think of what's been going on!

Tonight will be Breyton's first night in his twin bed!  He has been doing naps very well in it for a couple weeks.  Lately at bedtime he's been asking to sleep in his bed so tonight we said yes.  He's growing up too fast!

He's been saying more and more words.  Today's newest exciting word for him was {paci}.  I think he likes to know the words to be able to ask for them.  Jon and him played basketball together and he learned the word {pass} also.  Then he would pass the ball to dad.  He can point out most all of the colors but he will only says {green} and {blue} usually.  Most of the time if you ask the color, it will be blue :)  He is doing great on his letters.  Most letters he can find when you ask and he enjoys saying them as he finds them.  Lots of learning going on!

Yesterday at dinner we had steak and baked potatoes.  Part way through the meal he reached over and grabbed my steak and took a couple big bites out of it!  Here's the footage Jon was able to capture :)

The other day Breyton was saying hi to my belly, talking to the baby.  He had his sippy cup and decided to feed the baby with his sippy ... through my belly button :)  Pretty soon she'll be here and he can help as much as he wants!

What a good brother he will be!

We have thoroughly enjoyed the nice weather we've been having.  I've found that fresh air cures crabbiness!  Breyton {loves} to explore outside - anywhere.  We've been on a bunch of walks - but much slower due to my...condition :)  He can identify where all of our parks our and which direction to turn to get to them!

The little-lest gal must be putting on some weight because she has had some 'umph' behind her movements lately!

My intention was to post nursery pictures, but it's hard to do when you forget to take the pictures!

We got a few things for the nursery the other day at Target, which got me all excited to have a new little one in the house!  We got a pink giraffe pull toy that sings a lullaby for her crib.  Breyton had a dinosaur and loved it.  Also got a new little onesie/pant outfit that was on clearance and a pack of diapers... cute little diapers!

Pray for my momma, who will be having her second neck surgery on Thursday!  Pray for a quick recovery.
